Academic (as Rogan would say) for now, but could happen down the road if CroCop losses to Kongo on Saturday. Probably 2 of the best heavy weight stikers in MMA. any thoughts??

i think this fight will even if cro cop wins this next fight, they are both very good strikers, and arlovski has great speed, and could catch cro cop any given time, But Cro cop counter punching is great, and with a straight left he could drop arlovski,,,,,i'd say mirko By 2rnd KO...

If AA goes down by a crappy Tim sylvia uppercut what makes him stand a chance against a vicious CC HK?

I'd say AA has a better chance on the ground but would be foolish and stand with CC and miss a big over hand right an dget countered with a huge Head kick for a late 1st KO!!

Good point, Arlkowski's jaw is a big question mark and may be the very reason he's never gonna get another title shot; but CroCop doesnt have the reach advantage of Tim Sylvia.

Even Arlovski at his vicious best couldn't beat Cro Cop. Arlovski is good, but not Cro Cop good. Andrei would probably try to strike with him, and end up KO'd, if he shot in for the takedown Cro Cop would just use his legendary sprawl to stuff it.

I think this fight will be a little closer than people think. Everyone is saying Arlovski has a bad chin, and that may be true, but Cro Cop doesn't have the greatest chin either. Cro Cop has a small head (and chin) for a heavyweight.

I think if either fighter caught one another clean with a hard punch, it's their fight to win. Arlovski, I think, is better on the ground and if he could get there I think Arlovski could pull out either a decision, or a TKO. But like someone already said, Cro Cop has a sick sprawl.

I think if this fight goes down I would pick Cro Cop, but the fight would be so close that I wouldn't bet any money on it.

Anyone can get caught with a fight-ending punch.

Head size and facial bone structure doesn't really affect a fighters ability to take a shot, despite what Rogan says. Mark Hunt and Nogueira don't have large facial bone structures or massive heads, neither do Hoost, Bonjasky, Sefo etc, and they can all take a hell of a beating.

Tito has a huge head, and a massive chin, and he isn't that good at taking a shot. Rogan is wrong on this one, many of the factors of a good chin (jaw muscle strength, the amount of room for the brain to move in the cranial cavity) are beyond a fighters control.

Speaking of Chins, aside from Hunt, Ray Sefo has just about the hardest chin going.

Lol I didn't think anyone listend to Rogan, most of the time you should say the opposite of what he says and you'll sound much smarter.

its not gonna be a good day for AA if hes in there with CC, not much more to say than that unless you want the obligatory anyone can beat anyone on any given day.

these are my two favourite fighters at HW, so i'd be happy if either won, and be sad if either lost lol. but i'd probably go with cro cop, arlovski's chin could be suspect and if cro cop can drop mark hunt in k-1, i think he can drop anyone.
