One household UFC name that has long been without a scheduled opponent is welterweight contender Karo “The Heat” Parisyan.

I want to see Karo and Sakurai go at it.

That fight would kick ass. Hopefully the rumors are true about their fight at UFC 78.

Mach would take the fun out of any possible entertaining fight Karo could put up.

I cant stand watching that guy fight and hes given too many good fighters one of their only losses.

That said ... they should be in completely different weight classes, so they wont be getting matched up any time soon.

Sakurai is relatively heavy compared to most of the 160 lb lightweights and in the past he has fought at 170 when competing under american athletic commission rules. It's doubtful that they would be fighting in different weight classes.

It sucks that its going to take so long to see Serra/Hughes. GSP will get the winner, and if Karo wins his next fight (maybe 2 fights) then he deserves to get the next title shot. It would've been Diego, but he lost to Kos, and now Kos got ran over by GSP.
What's up with all the "BRO" this and "BRO" that? That sh*t is retarded BRO.

Karo vs. Sakurai would be an awesome fight. Mach would give Karo the fight of his life..... I think Karo takes by UD but I wouldnt be surprised if Mach pulls it off.

After his next fight, he might get the winner of Fitch/Diego, and the winner of that might get a title shot. Karo and Diego's first fight was great. Karo got his tooth knocked out and it went to a decision. It owuld be great to see them fight again. Or Karo/Fitch. Either way's good with me. I just think that if he wins his next two fights, they HAVE to give him a shot a the title (which'll be held by GSP, because he'll beat the winner of Serra/Hughes, hopefully Serra, so he can pay him back).

I'm a little PO'd that GSP has to wait so long to get another title shot. Hughes and serra fight in december, so he won't get in there until march at the earliest. I think the UFC has dropped the ball a couple times in the WW div. I personally think winner of fitch diego should fight karo for the next title shot, which will be in like 8 years.

Let's be real here. Karo is top 10 maybe 5 in the WW division. He puts on a great show, and he has been on a streak lately. I think he needs 1-2 more wins and he deserves a chance at that belt. put him against winner of diego/fitch and throw him in title contention!! Karo has been waiting too long for that title and i think he deserves it more than most WW's
