We've called GSP Nipple Boy for quite a while now.
I have respect for the guys fighting, but why does he need to harden up his nipples before his fights?
We first noticed this a while ago. He was in the ring, getting ready for the ref. instructions, and he licked his fingers, and, um, 'moistened' his nips. w.t.f...
Then again, at the last UFC event, before going in the ring, he again licked his fingers and stuck them up his shirt. Clearly aimed at the nips.
Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

When I go into situations that get a little hectic i.e. Company meetings, hanging with the in-laws or firing somebody at work, I give my nipples a tweak. It really works.

First of all I have never noticed this, but since you mentioned it, I have two theories
1) When your nipples are not hard it makes your chest look saggy. Maybe he does it so he looks good before the fight??
2) Maybe he does it as a distraction to the other fighter. He obviously caught your attention.

man Im concerned! WHY ARE YOU LOOKIN AT THAT MANS NIPPLES!!!! I mean I love GSP but His nipples are the least of my worries!

I'll admit, I started this thread to to add some humor and to see what kind of responses I'd get.
Brick's and zephead's responses were pretty damn funny.
Some responses were in reaction to the funny stuff.
On the other hand, some others just called themselves out.
If you never noticed this, you're either:
1) not really paying attention.
2) Dumb.
3) In denial that men have nipples, and cannot possibly imagine them being "moistened" on TV.
4) 13 years old. (same as 1 and 2).

Well, I must fit into one of those 4 catagories because I've never seen it happen. 
Do you have a reference? I looked at UFC 74 and didn't see it.
