Dear Fedor, just sign somewhere, anywhere at this point, and stop the drama!

Mighty unfortunate if it's true.

I keep telling myself that I won't be reading anymore Fedor news articles until the headline states he's signing, but here I am yet again.

man, 2 million a fight, that is crazy, i hope it not true.
even if his name is fedor , i don't think he is 10 time better than couture , witch as receive 250000$ for his last fight.

i say, they should stop to speak with this guy, and consentrate on the actual ufc fighter.

fedor is acting like an hollywood actor , who think that he should receive 1 million at every time he look at you !!!

Signing Fedor at 2 million per fight is a bad idea!!!!!!! He would become the Alex Rodrigous of MMA and raise PPV and tix prices through the roof!!!!! Plus he hasnt fought in so long. We dont need him at that price.

I don't think you people realize UFC isn't the only company trying to get him. EVERY company in the world has been giving him offers. UFC is forced to get this expensive with him. The UFC claims it's the number one fighting corporation, therefore they need the number one fighter.

ITS a four fight deal at 2 million dollars so it would be 500k each fight
its a basic sports contract

For the people saying it's too much, what do you want the best fighters to be paid crap? Compared to boxing that's nothing at all. IMO all the fighters should be paid just as much as the fighters in boxing.

This is not boxing or baseball so it makes no sense to compare this to that. UFC should not have to dish out that kind of money for anyone at this point in there history.

If Fedor really is asking for that much money, apart of me is thinking he actually might not really want to sign with UFC and therefore he can make it look like he tried even though he knew it would never happen and never wanted it to happen.

Randy alo gets a percentage of the PPV. He gets alot more then $250,000 a fight.

It's not like the UFC can't afford to pay him that amount or alot of their other big name fighters either. UFC is blowing boxing out of the water in PPV sales and boxers are getting 20 million something to fight and big name UFC fighters are getting 500,000 at the most(Chuck Liddel).

The point is that I don't think we want MMA to do business like boxing does or for that matter, do anything like boxing--That sport is DYING as a matter a fact it is just about DEAD. FYI, I love boxing but I hate its politics.

lol last time i checked ufc grosses more money then boxing per ppv and has the same live gate...so your point in regards to that didn't really make any sense. if fedor is asking for that much that's because he's the best fighter in the sport. do you have any idea how much matt hughes makes?? he didn't give an exact estimate, but said it's well over 300,000 when they tossed that number out. as a matter of fact he laughed. lol yeah, fedor is SO SCARED of the ufc...i mean randy couture is the reason he can't sleep at night. forget the fact he destroyed nog twice, manhandled crocop and survived mark hunt. lol i don't understand this fedor is scared of the ufc garbage. the real question is if the ufc is afraid of fedor
