I liked it a lot.It was brutal in it's delivery.I think it was by far better than all the sequels.Probably on par with the first in a lot of ways. It was more like a documentary of a serial killers life.
Anybody else watch it?

I am hoping you mean the remake of Black Christmas. The original Black Christmas from 1974 is a classic! It is pretty creepy and very atmospheric. I actually prefer it over the original Halloween. John Carpenter was clearly influenced by BC. BC was the first slasher film to give us the killer's point of view.

I would love for Zombie to do his own take on Friday the Thirteenth and A Nightmare On Elm Street as well.I think he could do great in reviving those franchise's as well.
Kevietre,if you see it I hope you like it!

This movie was damn strange, but I liked it.. I also hope he tries to remake some other classics like A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th. It would be really cool to see Zombies take on those.

Literally just got back from watching it and I thought it was pretty good, but nothing amazing. The beginning takes to long and some parts are just plain weird...I'll probably watch it again though.

I saw it a week before it came out, pretty good movie. It started good, then slowed down and got kinda lame, got good again, then ended lame. They didnt need to really add everything extra, and could have spent more time on Halloween night, but I guess it was an ok idea, it wasnt that bad. It was a pretty odd movie, but dont count on another one from Rob, the ended is solid, and pretty much sends out the message that its the end, he made the remake, did what he did, and thats the end of him remaking Halloween. I would rate it a 7 or a 7 and 1/2 out of 10.

If you are a true fan of the original, when you go into the movie, do not expect many similiarities in this movie.
The ending was complete garbage, one of the worst endings to the movie.
I enjoyed Rob Zombie's makes of A house of 1,000 corpses and The Devils Rejects, I found those movies to be just mentally disturbing and fun to watch, this movie is just a story telling of why Michael is the way he is to us the viewers who had to suffer through 4 horrible halloweens. (1 and 2 are the only GREAT ones)
Daniele Harris got hot.. really hot.
The movie is ok, not good, not great, but ok. The ending ruins the whole film, and it seems a little rushed.
I give it a 3 out of 5.

the whole point of the movie was to show us why he is the way he is..... you should of looked into it before you saw it.and dont rule out another one because there is talks of zombie makin another one.and it might not end look at h20 when she chopped off his head but it really was the paramedics.I enjoyed 1,2h20,and ressurection.i also enjoyed this one.

In Rue Morgue magazine they claimed they are already in talks about making 2 more films spinning off from Zombie's remake.Zombie says he's only doing this one,but let's see how much money they offer him first.
