well im not an mma fighter but i do box. im 6ft 215lbs but if i need to i can cut to at least 180 or so. I love to spar with one of my friends who teaches tae kwan do. Interesting match up and he can usually take my legs out from beneath me but its fun. If i could ever afford to get into a mma school i would love to train some serious BJJ and try to become the next Vitor Belfort.......But i dont see that happening anytime soon.....

i'm a fighter, but only when I play hockey. MMA wise, I'm just a die-hard fan, I'd rather watch two people beat each other up then actually jump in the mix myself.

I am not an MMA fighter, I have done several years Judo so I'm not completely lost on the ground, but I prefer just to strike, I don't want to have think about defending takedowns and all that.
I am a Thai boxer, I havn't yet fought, but I'm not in control of when I start fighting, I will allow mytrainers decide when I'm ready for compeitions. My head trainer, Master Sean Dooney, is a former 2 time European Champion, and very well versed in the sport Muay Thai, aswell as the techniques that were derived from the Muay Boran techniques, which are more aimed at causing serious injury or even fatality, and hence are illegal in the ring. He trained one of his students into a 5 time UK champion, so I trust his word, when he thinks I'm ready to fight, I will fight, but not before that.
Still, it works in my benefit, as I can focus just on training, and getting my technique down perfect, rather than worrying about my next fight. Rather than focusing on specific training for a certain opponent too early, I've got plenty of time to get my all round skills up by doing a lot of drills, padwork and sparring.
I am currently down to 182lbish, have come down from 205lb+ (but I was in pretty poor shape then), with more proper dieting and good exercise, I could probably get down to about 170lbs, and could fight at 170lbs without having to cut weight, or I could cut down a few pounds and fight a division or two down from that. Maybe with a long time and some hard work I will be able to get down to 160lbs walking weight, though I would be Buakaw ripped by then most likely, he is 155lbs...
my god, thats a Physique to aspire too!

I have respect for everyone on this websight for fighting. It takes guts, skill, heart, and determination. I've done training but never actually been in an MMA fight I dont feel I'm quite ready yet but I look up to my training partners who lay eveything on the line in the small shows for very little money.

I've fought every summer in an open weight tourney in Montana for the last three years. Its put on by a martial arts website I'm a member of, and the rules are similar to Vale Tudo, minus the groin strikes and with a "ring out" area on two sides, where if you can throw or knock your opponent completely out of bounds while staying in yourself, its a victory. Its also open weight, with no rounds or time limits. I'm 5-4, and I won the first tourney in 2005.

I haven't fought yet but will when my coach thinks i'm ready. I've been wrestling for 3 years and have placed 2nd at my regionals two years running. have been doing judo for about 9 months and my ne waza is slick, my throws i neglected so i've been busting my ass off trying to become better at it. I did kick boxing for about 4 months, the only thing i picked up well enough was the clinch, i still need work on my fists, my leg kicks are good. I hope to fight soon, i weigh at 140, will fight 135, and move up to 145 one day.

I've trained and competed in Karate and I've trained MMA for about 18 months now. I've never fought an MMA fight even though I was scheduled to a year ago but due to a shoulder injury I had to pull out. I've competed in some sub wrestling events and I plan on taking on MMA some day in the future.

Im not an MMA fighter, but i do compete in TKD tournaments, and kickboxing tournaments, i only train stand up, and i just recently started the ground work (JJ, wresteling), but im still unfamiliar with some stuff, and im pretty easy to choke out, or arm bar, so im not thinking of going into MMA just yet.....
