While he’s fighting Mike Aina on the 15th of September in EliteXC, Nick Diaz noted that he could handle Frank Shamrock if they two ever tangled. “I watched his last fight and no disrespect intended, but I think I would whoop his butt,” Diaz said.
you think he could?

I remember an interview with Dana about how he would never sign Frank Shamrock because Frank wants a huge amount of money, and he wants to pick his fights. Frank is basically looking to not lose. He wants to have a legacy and a bunch of money. Nick Diaz is an interesting fight because Frank may think he can destroy Nick, but it could go the other way. I like the matchup.

What shocks me about the statement is that Diaz actually said
"no disrespect intended"
I don't know about the outcome. Diaz is a tough kid, but I think a healthy Frank could take him. And I've had this debate before, so I will not say more.
Also, WTF is Diaz doing fighting a guy that is 8-5?

Diaz vs Shamrock?? That would be a great fight. I think Diaz would win hands down. He is nuts.

I would cheer for Diaz but Frank is too strong and would take down Diaz at will and work from there.

well im a diaz fan and i hate frank shamrock as much as any fighter. to answer this qustion i need to know what weight class they would fight in . at 185 frank may be too big and strong. 170 i like nicks chances and i would pick him. maybe they would do a catch weight fight like hughes/ gracie and fight at 177. nick could win here but it would be tough

First logical post on here.
Diaz has only seen Frank's last fight? That would explain his ignorance. Frank was injured and couldn't even train cardio. Of course he was in bad shape. That being said he put a whippin on the best eva. Standing no less.
Frank will annihilate Diaz completely wherever the fight goes. No disrespect intended...
Can you imagin the trashtalking before this fight though?! It would be legendary...although a rematch with Tito would be better.
