Not that great of an acquisition Baroni and Henderson knocked him out and he seems inconsistent. I'd rather see David Loiseau back.

Did you see Loiseau's fight in Elite XC?????

He looked horrible. Chonan is a more exciting fighter.

I'm with Spider. Loiseau looked aweful against Villasenor in elite XC and Chonan beat Villasenor. Chonan has some nice wins and he had one of the coolest submission victories I've ever seen over the UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva (in PRIDE).

Silva deserves a chance to redeem himself, Ryo got a lucky sub and Silva prolly got payed more $$ to lose....I don't care to see Ryo fight at 170 in the UFC, send him to WEC.

yeah, he's not the greatest or anything, but UFC would have an easy time marketing him with that submission

bingo they will hype up to infinity and beyond, showing that incredible sub and they fact he beat anderson...i think he should stay at 185, that division is weak and welterweight is too overcrowded

I think Ryo will do good in the UFC. I rather see "Mach" Sakurai but Ryo is fine with me. Hes not Championship caliber but you never know.

Well Josh Burkman has been "rumored" to fight Forrest Petz, but that has never been signed sealed nor delievered, so this could be Ryo's first opponent.

I am going to UFC 77 in October at US BANK ARENA IN CINCINNATI, so I would be extremely excited to see that.
