Who is going to win, Hendo, or Rampage? Why do you think?
I don't know why I'm finding this one so damned hard to pick. Right now I've got Henderson in a round 3 TKO/KO. That could easily change for me up to the minute of the fight.
The only problem is that Rampage was able to squeak out a decision against Matt Lindland, which kind of nullifies being able to say Henderson will outwrestle Rampage. Rampage has done very badly against Wanderlei Silva, whereas Henderson has been able to get that job done. Not to mention that Henderson is training with one of the smartest men in the game (The Natural) and also training with a guy who's fought against Rampage. (The Law) All in all I think this gives Henderson the edge.
I wouldn't be surprised if Rampage is able to land a devastating shot on Henderson and take him down, though. The thing Rampage has that I don't feel Henderson has as much of is the ability to finish fights in a devastating and all-of-a-sudden manner. Not to discredit the amount of power Henderson can pack, or the toughness of his chin.
AHH I gotta stop.. I'm second guessing myself as I'm writing this. So, what do you all think???

Rampage by 3rd round KO/TKO. Hendo hasn't fought in a while and this is his first fight back under UFC rules, which works a bit against him. I see Rampage wearing down Hendo early on then putting him away about midway through.

i agree, and rampage's striking looks very good, technical, he cut off chuck everywhere he went, and made him circle the way chuck didnt want to go, and i think rampage is strong enough to keep this fight standing for the most part, so i see rampage by late TKO, maybe 3rd, or 4th round....but i would be surprised if hendo pulls it off...

Unless Hendo catches Rampage with an Overhand, Rampage will out hustle him. Henderson always gasses and gets really sloppy with his stand up.

Problem is that Hendo's never been knocked out and has a history of going into late rounds.
Different story for Rampage (although it seems to take a lot) and Rampage doesn't have a history of going into late rounds.

I think Hendo is too small and he will get either TKO ' d or beat by a decision

i agree, rampage will wear him down and use his size advantage to get a stoppage in the third or fourth

Rampage continues to impress me and seems to get better with age much like Mr. Couture. However, I think Henderson will win this fight, and I actually think the cage will help and not hurt him.
I think it will go to decision and be very close leading to a rematch...but I think Henderson is going to rely on his wrestling and ground control to win this fight.

henderson by ud. His wrestling is on the level of Lindlands and his striking is better. Lindland was able to control Rampage and make it his fight while rampage was gassing hard in rounds 2 and 3. I see this fight going the same way except for hendo picking up the decision.

This is a very, very tough fight to pick.
I think the key to this fight will be the transitions from the ground to stand up. Whoever manages these "scrambles" the best will come out on top. I'm taking Henderson by TKO in round 3. I think Henderson will catch Rampage with that big overhand right that will lead to an eventual GNP stoppage.
Of course, I can see the exact opposite happening No way am I putting any money on this one.

Randy did not train w/Hendo. He trained w/Rampage. Also hendo is a natural LHW so they will definately be equal in size. This is probably one of the closests matchups ever in UFC. I hate the fact they are fighting each other. Why cant Hendo go beat up on Franklin and Silva. The both have heads like a dump truck, so the KO i dont think is going to happen. The TKO might because they both are bomb droppers. They both equal in strength so i dont see that as a factor as well. Hell we might even see a draw. I really see this going to decision or whoever makes the first mistake. Its just too close.

Do you guys even watch Hendo fights? He's NEVER been KNocked out or stopped in all of his fights and he's faught THE BEST Strikers Pride has to offer besides Anderosn Silva when he was around and mark Hunt and CC.
He didn't get stopped by the 2 best strikers in the LHW division in Shogun and Wandy...So how is Rampage gonna stop him if they couldn't stop him? They messed Rampage up!!!
BUt I still see Rampage winning a UD or SD because he beat Lindland whos a better wresltler then hendo so he'll just keep slamming Hendo like he did to Matt
UD- If he dominates 4 or all 5 rounds... SD- IF he wins 3 rounds or even 4 just so UFC could hype up a rematch.....PLus they probbaly don't want to make Hendo look bad in his debut becuase then stupid dumb rednecks ,who attend UFC events and boo all the god dang good fights and cheer for a boring Chuck fight when the only exciting part is when hes stops his opponet and the fights over, will start hating on Pride &/or Hendo when all they no is UFC and nothing else about MMA...

Uhm FYI...Hendo has never faught Hunt, CC, or Shogun. He fought Ninja Rua to a very, very close decision and everybody knows Shogun is 10x better than Ninja. BTW that first fight against Wandy, he was rocked a few times. If that was a UFC fight, it would have been stopped and Wandy would have one by TKO.

Wow I just found that Jackson/Henderson media days article. My bad for being out of the loop. What the hell happened with Randy and Team Quest?

...I just don't understand why every is picking Rampage for this one. Is it because he recently knocked Chuck out? Don't get me wrong, I think it's great Rampage is champ right now, but I just can't bring myself to say that he's going to beat Henderson. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see it happening.
