Haven't seen anybody say anything about this.. so here are a few updates I read about..
First, there is an article here (in portugese) that says Kultar "Black Mamba" Gill is out of the tournament with an injury, and Andre Dida is going to replace him against Caol Uno. Dida says he has been working on his sprawl and jiujitsu for Uno, but he plans to push the pace on the feet, and he believes JZ will defeat Shaolin.
Then, there is an article here which announces the following matchups:
- Kazushi Sakuraba vs Katsuyori Shibata - Zelg Galesic vs Dong Sik Yoon - Ikuhisa Minowa vs Kevin Casey
Then, there is an article here which announces this fight:
- Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto vs Bibiano Fernandes
..looks like it's going to be a great card

Wow this is a great card. It sucks that Mamba had to drop out, but realistically he didn't stand much of a chance regardless.
Sik Yoon / Zelg and the GP finals are gonna be very competitive IMO...

Guess Saku vs Kang went out the window? Damn, kind of dissapointed, wanted to see Saku wreck him (you can laugh, I know...)
Oh, well, just seeing him back in action will be awesome. Seeing Kid again will be great too!

man galesic vs dong sik yoon is such a crazy match up, i don't want to see neither of them lose.. yoon has been fed to the wolves every match that he has and galesic doesnt fare too well against judokas (see previous fight) i think it will be a battle of who can impose their will

Takimoto / Galesic was a crazy fight to watch. I hope this is an indication of things to come, win, lose or draw.
With that said Takimoto is a gold medalist, Soon isn't...

Never really heard too much about these guys, but personally I'd like for HERO'S to actually live up to their promise and let us see Sakuraba / Tamura. Mam that would be a GREAT fight!

I don't know, Takimoto looks pretty damn slick on the ground if you ask me.

I think Yoon will beat Zelg.
Yoon's come a long way since his fight with Saku. He's a tough guy with good stamina that is hard to put away with punches. His stand up has improved, and he is more than capable on the ground.
