He'd better, the Gonzaga fight showed that, fluke or no fluke, he is beatable just like everyone else. And if he doesn't win and get his title shot, this is another huge signing that could ultimately come back to Dana kinda like Heath Herring did.

Yes, he wouldn't have surrounded himself with an all-star cast of strikers, grapplers, and Octagon veterans if he wasn't serious.

If Kongo wins this fight I might have to go into the wilderness and try to find myself...because everything i have ever believed will have been crushed.

I know Kongo can strike like hell...but Cro Cop is much better at striking and everything else. It would be the biggest under statement in the world to say Cro Cop needs to win this fight.

I would like to let everyone know, they should watch kongo's fight against the best fighter he's faced thus far, Gilbert Yvel, in that fight Yvel mounts him twice, puts him in two triangles, gets an arm bar, showcases kongo's open looping slow punches, low hands, and a suspect chin(drops him from the ground with a left). Not saying it's 100% the kongo we'll see but he has alot of holes in his game that Hippo will know how to exploit.

Personally I think when crocop came to UFC from PRIDE he was always planning on going back to pride and just wanted to make some quick cash and gain some popularity in america that was until PRIDE was ruined by those pompous assholes in the UFC, now that pride is out of the picture I think CC will be on a rampage

I think all the CC fans are in for a treat. I think CC is going to turn into Fedor but w/better leg kicks. I get butterflies just thinking about it. I wish we had the ol'school betting right now, 'cause i would bet everything on CC. I wouldnt be surprised if CC wins by submission and then he gets the submission of the night. Im predicting arm bar:)

Thats not really that much of a bold statement. Their is a lot more CC fans than their are Kongo fans and I would be willing to bet that the CC fans are thinking the same thing.

Alot of people are predicting CroCop only for the fact that he is a better kickboxer, and that this fight will basically be a kickboxing match, but that isnt the case.Kongo has great knees from the clinch and can really hurt CroCop in the long run.Remember that this isnt kickboxing where the ref will separate you every 2 sec.

I still see it as a 50/50 but leaning towards Kongo due to the clinch game and his Muay Thai knees.
