He seems to be getting better on the ground every time we see him, is it possible he could end up becoming an almost unbeatable hybrid? i still feel the ground is where someone will beta him, however i dont see rich frankling doing it. that guy might as well change his name to quarter back with the amount of knee's he's taking ( double pun intended ) , i dont hate rich i just dislike his chances. nate marquardt had a good chance but failed. okami might be able to control him if he can get him to the ground, which is obviously going to be difficult. who do you see using a great strategy to defeat him?

That is a very good question. His last real loss (not counting the dq against okami) was in 2004 where he was submitted. I don't see anybody dominating him so I think it would come down to somebody swinging and catching him on the chin. Who though? Couldn't tell ya

ya i think andersons next loss will not be genuine loss where he gets dominated for five round or worked on the ground and stopped or submitted i think he will get caught on the chin kind of like a Forrest Griffin situation where he fought Jardine where he was winning and then just got caught

This is really a interesting question. I think his biggest challenge so far will be beating Franklin for a second time. This fight is not going to be easy at all, but for the sake of argument, I'll just assume he beats Rich. So if that goes down he will be considered unbeatable, right? Well, not so fast, what about Hendo. He is after all the Pride middle weight champ. he did just beat Wanderlie Silva. I mean, wouldn't most people pick Wanderlie to beat Anderson? So why not Hendo to beat Anderson? Mind you, if Franklin doesn't beat Silva and Hendo can't beat him and Okami doesn't, then he is going to run the show for a long long time, and this could easily happen. Silva is not to many fights away from legendary status, but he needs to stay hungry.

I don't think staying hungry will be a problem for him, especially given that, as a fighter in the public eye, he seems to be picking up more momentum every day. And yes, he is a few fights away from attaining the loftiest of statuses in the sport, that of the "ultra dominant champion". I think that should keep him going!

No he is not a hybrid. Don't buy into the hype, you might get embarrassed when he loses, there's simply too many great up and coming MW competitors for him to become some unbeatable force. Just like Fedor, I sincerley doubt he will remain unbeaten for too long. They both, SHOULD, at least have to fight the best comp out there and this will result in a loss before to long.
It's the nature of the sport and this epitomises what makes it so exciting.

If some LIght Heavyweights moved down to Middle weight such as bisbing tito and forrest it could boost a week division and cause silva a few problems

I doubt that considering Hendo's recent performances and the re-ermgence of Kid.

I don't think this is going to happen anytime soon.
Watch out for Hendo

All I know is I've betted against him every fight pick this year, so I'm picking him no matter what until someone exposes a huge gaping hole in his fight game.
WAR SILVA!

i agree at this point hendo probably has the best chance, but after the lutter fight where his jiu jitsu looked terrible, he stepped it up against marquardt with a nice reversal. he seems to be improving his ground work very well after the lutter fight, probably realized the cage helps guys like that. he obviously beats hendo standing, but hendo can take punishment and continue, i think it'd be a great fight, and would normally put it on hendo, but anderson silva is surprising me lately. i honestly thought nate woulda gnp'd him after he beat lister and the way he was taking anderson down, but that reversal came out of nowhere and to tell you the truth, i never thought anderson silva had it in him to do that. glad i was proven wrong.

i dont know why but i think dean lister can beat him......just a random tought...
maybe denis kang......or a rematch with lee murray haha (in jail for a bank robbery), murray actually took him to distance, it was clear that anderson won and has improved alot(after all murray did beat tito up in england lol), but i wouldnt mind seeing that fight....just for the fun of it....
also i think Yushin okami would be a good fight, okami is strong, and i would love tos ee this fight, although i think silva would win, i still think yushin has more thana good chance of beating anderson, specially with his ability of getting to the full mount position....

Have you forgotten about Henderson? If he loses to Jackson, he just might go down a weight class to face Silva. Henderson is way better on the ground so it would be a great match up. Other fighters will eventually come to the division too. I mean SIlva himself came out of nowhere to the UFC and took it by storm.
