I don't think early UFC rules change that much.

i think Mirko, beacuse the way he fights he doesnt get hurt or tired in most fight, so he would be able to make it to the finals without major injuries, maybe big nog would make it too, and hunt i think would also be a good guess.....i wouldnt choose fedor just becuase he can get cut easily, so you never know if he might get caught with an elbow and end his night........

Different rules here, fight won't stop by cut. Only by sub, KO, or towel.

He meant they don't change the fight for fedor much. And if the fight can't end by cut it only benifits him.

royce gracie would get killed in an open weight tournament with all the best fighters today even when he was on his prime, before all those fighter didnt know anything about submission or even how to fight, i highly doubt it that even mirko would get subbed by royce, let alone him submitting JJ wizzards like Big nog, or fedor (not a JJ wizzrd but is good at it, amazing sub defence).....

I think Shogun would have a good chance. He loves the ground kicks and stomps so much it makes you wonder what kind of vicious moves he would try when there are no rules.

a few names come to mind fedor coutour gonzaga
just bc they are all expierience, can take a hit, and know what theyre doing and when to do it. if you were talking about every fighter being the same size though i think those guys would get killed by people like bj, st.piere, and henderson
