I upgraded my cable package for $5 a month extra to get basically a big sports package with Versus. All WEC events are LIVE on Versus, and they have a lot of new WEC Wrekcage shows, which is just like UFC Unleashed. They have the MMA reality show, Tapout, which follows the company Tapout through how they sponsor fighters, they go to camps, weigh-ins, events. They are kind of a quirky bunch, but it gives an insider look at MMA. They have some interesting programming.

I would have to say that it is worth it. Especially if you are into hockey. Between Spike, FSN, and Vs. there was 4 hours of MMA action on Wednesday, plus Tapout.. Personally, I can't sit in front of a TV that long w/o wanting to put a gun in my mouth, but it's there if you want it.

Yeah my wife and I got a sports package, she is from AUS (the land down under) and needs to see her Aussie rules football, it had VS on it. I would say $15 a month extra is worth it.

My parents got Versus for all the hockey(playoffs, regular season games, etc)that they don't show on the normal channels, then all of a sudden they started showing WEC stuff. It's not that entertaining, but its a great "its 1 in the morning, I can't sleep and there is nothing on TV" channel.

Mine cable company just added it to whatever package I had before, it would be worth the 15$ if your into the WEC fighters becuase than you get to see them for less than a PPV buy. However if you don't care about the fighters than screw it.

Unless you also like hockey and Chuck Norris' team fighting thing (more like karate), no. It still shows a lot of outdoor stuff from when it was OLN. To me it's only good for hockey.

Versus does a good job with hockey. I'm a Caps season ticket holder, so I love hockey. Versus is coming on pretty good

Anything with Chuck Norris kicks ass

Dude switch from Dish to Direct Tv and you'll get it for free, it's in their basic package. They carry WEC events, both old shows, highlight shows, and live events, plus they have the TAPOUT show on there. Also Bodog comes on ION (Channel 255) usually @ 11:00 and/or 12:00 through the week w/ newer ones on Tuesdays and Saturdays. FSN (Fox Sports Network) is also free on DTV (channel 638 in my area but mabel be 6?? depending on where you're from. And they show IFL events plus new Pride shows (with Glazier and Trigg) showing fights from the past every Sunday @ 9:00, with re-runs through the week, plus they have 'Best Damn Pride Fighting Specials" which shows great Pride fights from the past such as Fedor, Shogun, W.Silva, Hendo, Ramage, Randalman, Hunt, Barnett, CroCop, Yoshida, Frey, Gomi and countless others.
Direct Tv is the best way to go, IMO. Trust me. It's like 45$ per month (plus the costs of ordering PPV's). I hope I could help you out. Good Luck.
