This is I fight I wonder about, and which way it would go. Jeff Monson is so short as a heavyweight, and I don't think he could cut to a Light Heavyweight. But I think Rampage walks around, in real life, at 220. If Monson cuts to that, they could fight. I am leaning Rampage, but I'm not sure, Monson has fought some tough heavies. For comparison I look at Rampage vs. Randleman. Monson is one of those fighter, he's not underrated, or overrated. It's more certain fights setup matches for him that are good or bad. I am eager to see what you guys say meaning that subject. True groove.

Likely Rampage since his stand up is better and he has reach, he also is hard to takedown

it would be a tough fight for jeff i think. as great as jeff is on the ground his takedowns seem decent but not great and rampage has a great sprawl balance and td defence.

jeff may be able to use his weight to drag him down but im not sure. would be an interesting matchup.

I think Rampage would win. Monson can only fight on the ground and Rampage's great sparwl would force Monson to stay on his feet, where there would be hell to pay. Jab, jab, BOOM!!.
There are alot of other ppl I'd rather see Rampage fight.

Remember Monson vs Sylvia? It would look something like that, but more violent and one sided. Monson wouldn't be able to take Rampage down, and in trying to take him down, he'd get his face punched in.

I believe monson has fought at lhw before, he's fought chuck liddel and lost.

i don't really know who takes this, monson DID beat fujita and is freakishly big/strong. However i think rampage's strength and technical boxing will carry him the victory

Hahaha... this fight would be a joke, monson might have fought some tuff heavyweights, but he didnt even have success against tim... his shots were ugly and tim defended most of them. the only chance he would have with rampage is to take him down, and that aint saying much for the snowman... i think rampage would tear him apart left to right.

i don't know about Rampage having an easy time with the snowman i think it would be a pretty good fight if Monson can cut to that weight again with out losing his strength you say he has had a tough time with some of the HW's he is also is giving up alot of height and reach to this guys, which makes it harder for him to shoot on them and to get in with punches. I would really like to see a Monson vs Couture fight i think it would be a grappling match for the ages

Don't forget that Monson used to be the AD champion. Still though, Ramage would win. If all HW's or LHW's were the Snowman's height, things might be different, but his height is his achilles heel, not to mention he's so HUGE, it makes his arms short.

I don't think it would be one sided as everyone is saying it would be, but Monson would certainly take a beating. But what I want to know is how he fits 200+ pounds into a 5'9 body. I mean, I'm 5'9 and I weigh 129 pounds. Given, I'm not in the best shape but wow dude...He must be pretty big around.

Not at all man, Have you seen Monson?? He's huge. First of all, muscle weighs more than fat, and he is nothing but muscle, w/muscles on top of muscles. Their on 6'3 fighters fighting at 155. People have different body structers. Monson is a mack truck. He's got very broad shoulders and carries a ton of muscle. Actually though, he fights as a HW, but has fought at LHW. You're skinny as hell man. I'm 5'8'' and weigh 155, but I fight at 145 (I cut weight before my fights). Monson gives the stout a new meaning. He's a beast. You're shoulders are probably not 1/4 of what his is, plus, look how thick his chest is, how big-a-round his arms are. Different ppl have different body structures. If he had a smaller build, he could fight at a lower weight, which would be to his benefit, but with his body frame, he can't fight now lower than LHW (Maybe MW, but he'd be losing a lot of muscle mass).
