Yes, and it won't be an upset as I'm almost positive Hardonk will be the favortie...

If he comes out as the underdog on betting lines I'm gonna jump on that so quick and drop some cash aswell...

Hardonk has lost to Justin McCully and that guy stinks. I think Mir will win by decision.

Justin McCully was also a late replacement, but you gotta think that Hardonk had no time to prepare for McCully's PA style of fighting. McCully regularly rolls with Tito... that had to play a role in McCully's decision win. I'm not so sure that Mir has the same take down ability that would be required to beat him. Who knows, but it should make an interesting fight.

I said it the first time this fight was to happen, and I say it now. This is Mirs last fight. Hardonk trains with the best leg kicker in the world (Ernesto Hoost), and Mirs leg will never be 100%. Mir doesn't have the speed anymore and doesn't have the takedown ability or chin of McCully. Expect Mir to crumple around the 4 minute mark.

It's not hard to see it in Hardonk's fight either, he almost chopped Pendergarst's leg in half before the KO...

And Pendergarst is a monster compared to Mir. Either way Hardonks hands and knees are good enough to drop Mir in a heartbeat, but if the leg kick comes into place, I'm fairly certain we'll never see Mir fight again.

this is definitely a hard one to call....which frank mir will show up?.....hardonk will slay frank on the feet but when it comes to the ground it might get scary.....i've heard hardonk is rickson gracie associated but i'm not sure his skills are mir level jiu jitsu.....i mean he had many oppportunities for subs in the mccully fight and did not show any signs of awareness of such....i'm leaning towards hardonk but we may see some snapping and popping if his sub defense isn't there....STILL ON THE FENCE at this point.

I like Hardonk but after watching his last fight with McCully i have come to the conclusion that he has zero take down defense and not a very good ground game at all so once mir takes this down it will most likely be over. That being said he is an outstanding kickboxer and every round starts on the feet so he does have a chance of knocking the former champ out but if MIr comes prepared and in shape he sould be able to play if safe and gtake to the ground and most likely finish it.

I am picking Hardonk, but I am scared about the pick. Hardonk looked very tentative in his last fight. Mir is also a BJJ black belt while Hardonk is a blue. Hardonk is a very good stand up fighter, and is a much better athlete than Mir.
