Chute Boxe coach Master Rafael Cordeiro has confirmed that Fabricio Werdum has officially joined the team.

“He is a heavy fighter, very strong and big and can be very fast as well. I am sure that this new partnership will give us more and more happiness,” stated Cordeiro.

Good becuase his stand up was pathetic against Arlovski...if he works this out he'll be a prett complete fighter.

He's a decent boxer actually, but he's too tentative. Too cautious. This is a great move, and Werdum with stand up is scary...

He does need to improve his standup skills.

What an amazing combination!

His open hand slapping vs. AA was disapointing although I know his standup is better than what he showed there.

This really does excite me.... imagine a Sub wiz like Werdum who is used to waiting for moves to come to him, actually gaining the aggressive and full-throttle edge that Chute Boxe brings.

I think this could move Werdum up the rankings quickly.

definitely a smart move to improve his stand up and aggressiveness......couple it with some strong wrestling takedown training and he would become an absolute nightmare....a threat on the feet w/ takedowns and top tier jiu jitsu would cause anyone in the hwt division problems...even if he improves his stand up you know "his" fight, is still, on the mat

Could be the best move since CC training with Lister.
