Nope I'm not just throwing it out there. His management at Black House told Stephen Quadros that Paulo is tired of cutting all that weight and that he might go up to 205. Apparently he walks around at 215.
What do you think about that move?
btw. He's 5.9

at 5'9" its tough to compete at the highest level at 205, there are exceptions(monson comes to mind), and he is a great BJJ artist, but i dont see that being the best career move. hopefully the nogs get it into his head that MW is the best place for him, hes so good as a 185er that id hate to see him move up and be just another guy.

i think he needs to dominate the middleweight first unless he thinks he can take on the 205ers of WEC then I'd say go for it.

Yea, Monson does it well. He is 240ish, and a freak of nature.

i dont noe if this would be a great move.......
lets say if he went to the ufcs LHW division, and he wants to be the champ, he'll have to fight a guy like rampage.........rampage has superior stand up to filho, but filho has the better BJJ, so if by any chance filho gets rampage is a sub, BOOM!! he gets slammed haha.........and i really dont see him beating guys like chuck, Lil nog, etc.....
my point is he could be a mid-level fighter at 205, but never a top dog, at least not in the ufc.....maybe he could be the champ in WEC, but again WEC has no real top guys at 205....so my point is why go from Top 3 MW in the world....to just being another 205 pounder.....
