CroCop (and Lister) is making all the right moves after suffering the devastating loss to Gabriel Gonzaga. And really, that's always been CroCop's style. He's suffered a few notable losses that wound up serving as diagnostics about his in-ring ability. Now that he understands how important the cage, wrestling, and defensive ground work can be, he's doing everything in his power to bring his skills up to speed. Cheick Kongo's going to have his work cut out for him.
IMO it's great for both of them. I think Mirko needs a bit more help with feeling out the cage, and lister can use some striking help. Ricco is still there, as are vyel, bonjasky and sergi. I'm getting so excited for the upcoming fight with kongo, Mirko seems really dedicated to winning, and going after that belt.

hard to think that lister will be able to help more than werdum did but maybe him having some famialiarity with the cage will be of use to mirko. i heard he was training 80% stand up for kongo which is probably smart.

Lister does have a wrestling backround, and will be able to help submission defense in the cage. The biggest thing is that ground defense Mirko will undoubtably need if/when he beats kongo. You look at the people who he would have to face to make become champion, 1st up kongo, 2nd theres rumors of big nog, 3rd randy or gg. Even if the guys he faces aren't elite ground guys they will more then likly have to take him down, because no one in their right mind would stand with Mirko, unless there ground game is worse then his(which is going to improve vastly).

great for mikro, lister has a very dangerous guard, and he can teach mirko to deliver some punishment from the bottom,, and teach him how to use the cage to his advantage.......

I cant wait till crocop gets back in there and starts laying foot to head!!!. I know he is a great warrior and feels like he needs to redeem himself or potentially blemish his legacy. Who an athlete trains with has a lot to do with his success I hope Mirko is doing this, he has the talent to KO anybody in his path as long as he stays focused i do not see him getting beat at his own game ever again!!!!

dean lister is finally making the right move, his stand up was so bad idk how he won at all. he decides to drop down in wieght class but wouldnt work on his stand up. if he really does get good work in and hsi stand up becomes respectable hell be a good fighter. but i doubt that he can make the move from jits to stand up easily
