I don't know what to say to that list.

They put a lot of big name fighters on blast.

Some deserve it, others I don't think should be on there. I was expecting to see people like Gabe and scrubs like him. They only profiled top name fighters.

I dont agree with the BJ one. I mean you can blast Penn all you want the fact is he
lost to Matt Hughes, GSP, Jens (in his prime), and Machida who is much bigger then BJ. This is the guy who beat Matt Hughes when everyone thought he was indestructible. Now I understand he has been gassed and he is obviously working on that (hopefully) from the look of the Jens fight but i mean to say he has underachieved is a little too far. Hes beaten Gomi, he beaten Hughes for his title, Hes beaten Caol Uno, Matt Serra, Din Thomas ect. I personally feel he hasnt underachieved as we see he can make 155 but prefers to fight at a weight that challenges him.

i agree with the list in the cuz i assume the list is based on each individual fighter, their potential and where they could be at this point of their career.
i dont think the list is comparing the 10 fighters to all the other fighters in mma.
imo they are underachievers in comparison with themselves, how they started off in mma, and why for one reason or another they couldnt rise to the top and/or stay there

I don't really see how Tanner qualifies for this list to be honest.

The rest, sure, but Tanner? eh.....IMO no.

well said. i also like how the original author pointed out that many of the fighters are still young. and because many had such lofty expectations at an early point in their careers, when they failed to live up to the potential bestowed upon them, the door hadnt completely closed and that they could still make a run to the elite echelon of fighters if they pick up the pieces.

Tito should definitely NOT be on the list, he couldn't really achieve any more, he's not as great as the UFC and Dana would like you to believe.

As for BJ, he IS an underachiever. Underachieving means not achieving as much as you could. That's definitely BJ. Sure he achieved a lot, but he could have achieved much more if he wasn't obssessed with having so many belts and ended up with none. Greedy, greedy, he's good but not that good. Should have taken cardio a lot more serious too, would have achieved a lot more.

Randleman is probably the greatest underachiever. Sure he was UFC champ, but he could should have had much more accolades. The guy knocked out CC (not a fluke like GG), and could probably do it again (rubber match is needed, CC didn't prove his superiority in their rematch). If Fedor was human, Randleman would have been the only man to trully defeat him. If Randleman trained smarter (not with HammerHouse), and was on his mental game 100% of the time he could be the number one heavy AND number one light heavy around (at least a few years ago he could have been). He is the most explosive mma fighter ever.

To decide if he is a fighter or a comentator.

MMA is no different than any other sport, some work the rehab as long as they need to come back some...never do.
Frank is doing the latter...

If he came back to his former self I think he can beat everyone in the HW division, save Fedor.

I hope he recapures what he lost. I liked watching his fights
