MLB steroids. You know hen people are rooting aginst someone braking the sport's biggest record somethin is wrong. Steroids are killing baseball. Anytime someone breaks a record or has a huge season the player is going to be accused of stroids. It's ridicolous.

I agree with what you are saying, but I think baseball is too old and established to really be damaged as a sport. People may undermine the accomplishments and records of the players, but the game will never be tarnished (by steroids) at this point.
I picked MMA because it is the youngest sport on the list and is thus most susceptible to being permanently hurt by any fiasco.

baseballs ratings are still doing well though, but the point about ppl booing the guy to break the most hallowed record in sports is a good one. i think the vick thing is huge because of the recent string of arrests, and deaths all over the NFL. this is the biggest sport in america and was seemingly untouchable, but these street thug type players are starting to have a major negative effect and could do major damage to the seemingly most stable sport in the US

I say Vick will have the worst negative impact on their sport. It was close between him and the basketball ref. Both have tarnished the image of their sport. I picked Vick over the ref because he is a household name. If it was the third string RB for an NFL team it might not get quite as much publicity as Vick got. Either way no matter who it is (big name or not) it's a very bad situation to be in.

I think the NBA ref thing will have the biggest impact in the long run...
Basketball's popularity has been waining, and people are getting tired of the "thug" mentallity that seems prevalent in the sport...
Something like this has challenged the actual integrity of the game as a whole, and not just it's rogue or trouble making players... This is going to set the NBA back years...
They are all pretty horseshit situations though, and I'm glad I don't really have to deal with any of them

i say mma-steroids because people all ready downgrade the sport and that just gives them other reasons to say something
