i think that if chuck weathers the opening barrage from wandy he would win. chuck is a counterpuncher, wandy is a free swinger whose punches can get a little wild so the style matchup favors chuck. but like i said before that first flurry wandy throws is going to tell a lot into how the match ends.

Jardine for life he is going to destroy chuck then he is going to dominate silva, he is the best in the world.
Not, i threw away my vote to be the only one who voted for Jardine,
Ufcjunkie is spreading more rumors saying that they want chuck and silva to fight in december if chuck wins, (in a past post i said that they would fight in december i will laugh so much if they do)
when it comes down to it i would pick chuck 2 round KO, wandy loves those looping punches and those are perfect for a counter punch.

Silva by KO easy. Chuck can't even keep his hands up. Not to mention he's pretty slow compared to Silva. Bad combo against Silva. Chuck would not be able to handle Silva's agression (he'd probably be even more pissed off then usual coming off those losses).
Only chance of Liddell winning is Silva going completely insane and stomping his skull in after knocking him out and losing by DQ.

That would be great if Jardine beat both Liddell and Silva He would be my hero but i think Silva will eventually hold the UFC title. I dont think Liddell will retire a champ with all of the new fighters coming in...

How can you not agree with that logic?

This is a great matchup and very close. It's a pickem but I gotta go with Chuck for a few reasons. Both are old, but Vandy has taken a lot of punishment and has been in many wars, maybe more than anyone in MMA. That's gonna take it's toll. Your body can only take so much, and Vandy has a lot of miles on him. Also stylistcally it's a bad fight for Vandy, Chuck is very patient and I don't see Vandy catching him early like Rampage did, I see Vandy with some moments, but Chuck controlling the momentum of the fight and getting a decision. My groove.

i agree with the styles being bad for wandy, but he just turned 31 so hes not that old(hell im a month older), although his head does have some miles, i think he has more than a few good years left.

fighting years he's old. He's older fight wise cause of what he's been through, it's not about age, it's about what you been through and what you got left. Also Chuck is a very awkard and tough guy to fight, and hit. You have to take the Rampage thing out of your mind, just like Rampage is a bad match for Chuck, Chuck is a bad match for Vandy, with his poise and hard hitting it could be anywhere from a 2nd TKO to a Chuck decision. Either way it will be great to watch.
