i'm a bit lazy to translation right now so here is just short summary
he will bring Bonjasky, Iyvel and Ivan Hippolyte to train with them.....................something about training more stand up (he'll train in this proportion: stand up/ground game 80:20)...and he had also mentioneted that he will get octagon next week
if anyone have the will to translate the whole article please be my guest : http://www.vecernji.hr/newsroom/sports/more/1778600/index.do;jsessionid=A9C15A119E0A46BE3791FD10F9A1694D.2

Thats awesome... 2 strikers that are probably actually on the same or higher level than Mirko as far as striking goes, this should get him in fantastic shape for this fight with Kongo

Not just that but the man who trained Bojansky is coming as well. Ricco is still there to teach him the sublties of the cage.

No Ivan, not sure if he trained or was a training partner of Bojansky...my Croatian is a little rusty. I just wanted to point out for people who don't know who he is, just how big of an impact he'll have. I'm expecting a rediculous amount of leg kicks in this fight. Possibly a TKO by broken legs. I'm expecting Yvel to have a rediculous sparring match with Mirko, we all know how crazy he is hahaha. It'll be good though because they'll both be pushing him to take his striking to an all new level. Shed some light if you know to what capacity Ivan and bojansky were involved.

CC said last month (I think) that he was brining in "Sauve" to teach him cage tactics

Well Kongo is such a superior kickboxer to the likes of Bonjasky, Le Banner, Aerts, Hoost, etc., he will beat Crocop. War year of upsets!

Not sure I understand your post....but ok. Here's a full translation for you guys: The shocking April defeat from Gonzaga inspired a new rise in the strongest Croat. Mirko Crocop wants to fulfill his UFC contract in such a way that his employees don't regret paying him 2.4 million USD. He has 4 fights remaining, first of which is against the Frenchman Chieck Kongo on September 8th in London. The Croatian gladiator takes his opponent very seriously, which is proved by the sparring partners who will join him during August. The 2 times K-1 World champion Remy Bonjasky is coming to Zagreb, joined by a great standup fighter Gilbert Yvel and the legendary thai boxer Ivan Hippolyte. "I have decided to train harder on my standup, in a 80:20 ratio. It's important for me to defend the takedown, I'm good enough on the ground now, but because of the ground fighting I neglected thai boxing. However, that's why I'm visited by todays best [standup] fighter." Crocop is also joined by a man that knows how to handle Kongo, Yvel, who knocked out Kongo 3 years ago. Kongo is a much better fighter now, which is why Bonjasky is here, a specialist in knees and leg strikes. Another news in Mirkos training will be a cage, expected to be delivered next week by the people from UFC. "It's a bit smaller version than the original, since the original can't fit in my gim, but it will be octagonal. To leave nothing to coincidence, I must train in the cage in the future, since it's different than the ring", Mirko explains.

To be honest, Yvel and Bonjasky know what it takes to push Cro Cop's striking to the next level, but Cro Cop is already better than them. He could beat Yvel, and while Bonjasky has some fantastic technical points he could teach Cro Cop, Bonjasky doesnt have the strength to stand with Cro Cop either. However, this isnt about competition, its about teaching Cro Cop. He will likely get some tips on knees from Bonjasky, Remy has awesome knees, and Kongo will try and clinch. While Cro Cop probably wont want to stay there long, Im sure Remy will teach him about using knees to escape the clinch, Remy knows his Muay Thai!
The only other person I'd like to see training with him is Le Banner, he has awesome hands, Im sure he could have made Mirko's punching (which is already phenomenal) to even greater destructive heights.

There is no way in the world that this fight is going to be a ground war. I kind of feel bad for Kongo. The UFC knows this is going to be a stand up fight and if they can get one LHK hl out of cro cop they will be happy.
