I don't know why it works out like this, but I usually just read posts and don't say much 1 or so days a week, and will just hand out a bunch of props that day...
I know they don't mean much, but most people will admit that it's cool to see that someone at least somewhat respect or connects with what you wrote...
I will definitley always give props for a good forum debate, anthing really funny, or a post that, after I read it makes me wanna just do a "+1" or that little I agree thingy...
I think when it comes to long posts, no matter how well thought out, a lot of people will unfortunately just skim through them unless it is relevent to their opinion / conversation...

I give people props that argue with me and make good coherent points. I like arguing and playing devils advocate. My point is I don't give out props for people just agreeing with me. I also tend to give props to the same people and it doesn't allow me. What does "spread the love" mean in a literal sense? Do you have to give like ten other people props before you can give to the same person or is it a time limit?

It would be interesting to see how many props people (not only) have, but how many they give out.
Another funny thing, when my internet was down and I didn't post anything for 5 days or so, I got 2 props, but when I was on here just before that I got nothing. lol
