Hopefully andrei goes to K-1 or something. I hate watching him fight and talking with people about how "good" he is. Come on beating tim(1of 3), wedum, and cabbage doesn't make you anything to scream about.

Andrei is a good match up for Vera, but Andrei is the former world champ so all of you internet dorks that think his Sambo skills are not up to par.... put your money where your mouth is when the fight is made and I'll double that bet!!!
What I can never understand about Arlovski is that he doesn't focus more on a ground game. Yes he supposedly is great at Sambo, so let's see it put to use finally!!!

Beginning Aug. 25, the UFC will host four major events — UFC 74, UFC 75, UFC Fight Night 11 and UFC 76 — within a four-week period. And with the fight cards filling up quickly, many UFC fans are asking: where’s Andrei Arlovski?

All of you guys are so wrong. You keep saying one guy would destoy the other. Those two guys are both Top 5 heavywieghts. If they fought 10 times, they could each win half. Use your mind.

Seems like a lot of people have crazy expectations for Andrei. I rarely see a guy appologize after beating someone because he didn't finish him off the way he wanted. I do agree that I would like to see him his old self again tho...

AA is in the top 10, not top 5 and vera isn't in the top 10 until he beats someone other then a not the same frank mir.

cmill, so you do agree he is top 10?
I think AA is always either underrated or overrated. He definitely has the tools and power to give anyone problems, especially in werewolf mode, but he has not proven himself against the best. Slightly better then an even record doesn't help either.
Oh, and by the way, he is "Junior" Sambo World Champion. Hardly the same league as guys like Fedor.

Arlovski is one of my Fav. Fighters. I agree his game hasn't been what it was when I first took a liking to his animal-like aggression. But whoever says that he can't back his shit up needs to wait for the Un-Leashing of the Pitbull, He's Back!
