Sean Sherk had the gall to go on a national television show and brag about his training routine when he knew it was all fake.

Hermes Franca had the temerity to ask those he perpetrated a fraud upon for forgiveness.

They should, and will, be punished severely for testing positive for anabolic steroids following their July 7 match for the UFC lightweight title in Sacramento, Calif. ....

its not hard to see that sherk is on that shit, i hope he gets his belt taken away.......i would like to see BJ take the title

and as for franca is good that he ask fo forgiveness, in an interview on mmaweekly.com he said it was because he had a heel injury and was tryin to speed up the healing.......sherk probably used them to juss make him better

i think they should be punished more, i mean $2,500 is not a large amount at all, thats about 9% of what he got, i think it should be 50% and i bet than they will stop

I am not sure what you mean by saying Sherk's training was fake. Sure I do not agree with fighters taking steroids, but that does not mean that they don't train just as hard as fighters that are not on steroids.
They have to make that decision at some point in their career. If they can win a world championship because they decide to take steroids, then that's something they have to live with.
They are better fighters then all of us will ever be, and I am not going to take anything away from them by saying they are only good fighters because they are on steroids. They are great fighters who've made some bad choices. Any fighter at any time could be on steroids, look at Royce Gracie, the last person you would expect to be taking steroids.

The entire year off stings a little more financially though. Nearly 100K if Sherk were to fight (and win) 3 times.

I think it should be a percentage, not a number.

+1

Like footballers being fined £2000 for misconduct...they lose more than that down the back of their sofas every day!
