UFC veteran Bryan Caraway and flyweight Joseph Morales are among just a handful of names who have been released by the UFC.
In addition to Caraway and Morales, MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz confirmed that light heavyweight Abdul-Kerim Edilov and heavyweight Dmitry Smoliakov are no longer on the UFC roster.
Caraway’s departure was revealed by South Korean promotion Battlefield Fighting Championship on Monday. “Kid Lightning” went 6-4 during his almost eight-year UFC career, picking up wins against the likes of Aljamain Sterling and Eddie Wineland during his time in the promotion.

Don’t think he was that boring. But that being said, it was alleged he was too picky with fights and was always passing up top contenders to get young kids who he knew he could stylistically beat. All the while always asking for a title fight because he came off a win. Also, the whole Miesha photo leaks are alleged to come from Bryan. If the UFC caught wind that’s definitely grounds for termination.

Caraway is the only guy I've ever seen win a decision only landing a combined 3 significant strikes in 2 rounds, and 9 significant strikes total. That screams boring to me.
