Should Sherk be stripped of his title, if so who should Penn fight for vacancy? |

he should be stripped from the title...i guess bj penn vs the winner of din vs fischer for the title. No one else except maybe joe daddy has been on a tear in the lw division.

definetly he should be stripped of his title and Penn should battle Huerta if he wins his next fight or possibly stevenson if he wins his next fight, I can't believe that Sherl tested positive for steroids he was one of my fav fighter but not now, he deserves to be suspended and stripped of his title.

He should be stripped of the belt regardless of how long his suspension is. Steroids need to be delt with before they become a major problem. Mabey they already are?
If the belt is up for grabs, I'd like to BJ fight Ken Flo. If Sherk was juiced up then Florian didn't really have a fair shot at it the first time. I always thought if BJ could get by Sherk then he would run the division for a long time. But Florian has as good a shot as any 155lb fighter. I think Penn will take the belt regarless of who he fights, but Ken Flo has a solid shot. There are a bunch of other good match-ups out there, but I like this one best, and I think Kenny deserves another ligit shot.

Sherk is one of my liked fighters. But that's a disgrace to the fighters who really train for their muscle and talent. Strip his belt and make him fight back up the ladder! I think Gomi or Stevenson would be a bad ass fight against Penn!

Sherk is a disgrace and should be banned from the UFC....there is absolutly no excuse or apology Sherk can come up with that will make me feel any remorse for him having more than double the normal amount for an active athlete..
Franca on the other hand gave his side of the story which i dont blame him for trying to do what he had to do...but Sherk!!

What the hell did you want in that Sherk/Franca fight? a trap door, clowns, lions? What?
That was not even close to being a boring fight it was one of the best fights actually of the year.
I say strip Sherk of the title, I mean there is no honor in that title if it is being held by a roid ranger. this hurts my feelings because Sherk is one of my favorite fighters in MMA and I saw this and I wanted to throw up.
Here is what I think will happen,
Sean Sherk keeps the title and an interm lightweight championship will be available.
Kenny Florian has torn up the LW division and I think he has to be in line to fight BJ Penn for the interm championship.
Everybody keeps saying "Joe Daddy" but yet Joe Daddy has to get past Kurt P which is not such an easy task.
Kenny Florian has to be the obvious number 1 choice and he fought and one in amazing fashion against Alvin Robinson at UFC 73, so it will give BJ and KenFlo enough time to train and get in shape against one another at UFC 78.
KenFlo vs. BJ Penn for the Interm Lightweight Championship sounds like an amazing headliner.

I agree he should be stripped.
I don't think Spencer Fisher gets enough credit.
Florian's still looking good too.
I'm not a big fan of Stevenson, but that's not saying he doesn't deserve a shot.
Guida has definately surprised me lately.
All good choices as far as I'm concerned.
I think it's a little too early for Huerta though.

Actually, double the normal athlete amount of testosterone is actually naturally possible according to studies from the Olympic doping committee. I was diagnosed with it in high school, and was prescribed valium to calm my agressiveness. People who shoot roids to build muscle usually have 10 or more times the natural amount. I don't know if Sherk took this to heal faster from his shoulder surgery, or if he is a freak of nature, a habitual user who hides it well, or just takes small amounts . I really wish he would give a statement soon. I do know he passed his test against Florian, so that would seem to point to the latter. So he beat Florian clean . Barring some great believable explanation , and his suspension being taken away ( like Marquardt) I would strip him . Penn/ Stevenson ( if he beats Pellegringo) for the belt. Perfect world would be Gomi/ Penn rematch, but he still hasn't signed as far as I know.

2ng is the natural amount for atheletes in the olympics who do the same thing as clean MMA artists.
his score of 12 would be 6x the actual amount not double.
he didnt take the steroids recently but it does show he did take steroids.
