The UFC veteran called it a career on Saturday night after winning a unanimous decision in a lightweight preliminary bout against Te Edwards at UFC Brooklyn.

Makes sense, guy went from top prospect to buried on the prelims. Way to many decisions, that makes for a ton of cage time...and all that wrestling too...rough life. I wish him the best.

Not directly Anik's fault, I am sure the broadcast was in his ear telling him to hurry it up; which really sucks. He deserved more than that, also it was in bad taste to say what Anik said trying to justify the rushed interview. This unfortunately is the reality when working with broadcast TV. Time constraint. I tuned in late but I heard the broadcast was delayed because of some sporting event on before the UFC was set to make it's ESPN debut, which ironically beautiful. The UFC wants to play with the big boys? Welp. You're at the whim of their buttons in the booth.
