Tyron Woodley might not be UFC president Dana White’s favorite fighter, but he’s not so spiteful that he’ll deny the UFC welterweight champion an obvious Performance of the Night.

Woodley earned a $50,000 performance bonus for his tremendous victory over previously undefeated Darren Till on Saturday night in the main event of UFC 228. A D’Arce submission at 4:19 of the second round secured the champ’s fourth successful title defense.

Woodley and Andrade should not have gotten POTN bonuses.

Neal and Sterling, even Alhassan or Zabeast had better finishes imo.

It would have been nice for them to publicly say "fuck it, we're giving out multiple bonuses this event." Knee bars should always be sotn without question. My heart goes out to staman, I can empathize with what is guaranteed to be an ugly knee injury.

Best card of the year?

Me, Jb and my brother watched and we were digging it.

I'm disgusted by this Woodley is the WW Goat talk now. I guess they forgot about GSP'S domination for years.

I agree, the finishes of all above where very special. I don’t understand why the cheap skates can’t hand out more of them when it’s clearly due.

That Neal head kick was crazy. The way Alhassan had Niko slumped against the fence was brutal.

Woodley? Really? It was a nice win for sure but Woodley's finish is middle of the pack when it comes to this card. Neal, Sterling, Zabit, Alhassan, Stewart and Miller... Take your pick. All of those finishes were more deserving than Woodley's. Hell, Andrade's was 4th in line for me personally. I hope those guys got a little something extra.

And I agree, this was my card of the year so far. Top to bottom it was awesome. Funny that the only real stinker of a fight came from John Dodson.

and I place the same amount of blame/responsibility to Rivera too despite the fact that he was pushing the pace much more.
