t appears that the UFC welterweight division is finally moving again.

With an(other) interim title reportedly in the final stages of negotiation between Colby “Scat” Covington and Rafael dos Anjos, Stephen Thompson is reportedly set, or all but set, to fight Darren Till in the UFC: Liverpool main event on May 27.

With this being the UFC's debut in Liverpool, this was the fight to make. Glad they made it!

This should be awesome. Highest striking level match up at 170 ever. I'd also really like to see Usman take on Maia. 170 is really starting to heat up now with RDA vs Covington too. Should be some more awesome match ups by the end of the year.

Also over Woodley as champ...one of the above guys would be able to take care of him. Till could give him
Massive problems

Stiff test for the Liverpool native. The win over Cerrone was impressive no doubt but he was a massive Welterweight fighting a very small one. I'm looking forward to seeing how he handles a guy as skilled as Thompson who's much closer to his own size. I have a hard time forgetting that draw with Dalby not too long ago.

Great matchup stylistically too.

His win over bojan wasn't overly impressive either but this could be his break it fight...or a humbling learning experience
