Cool, lets hope he's lost some weight and is back to his submission best.

Not to be a dick, but other than Tim Sylvia who has Mir really beat? He was dominant in a time when the Heavy Weight division was virtually non-existant. Why do people still talk about this guy like he was awesomE?

mir may not have beat a lot of todays top fighters but he does have a a win over pete williams. a lot of people may laugh at that as he is not a "top fighter" but he is a tough fighter with one of the greatest knockout real ko's of mark coleman.

i love frank mir so excuse the fanboy antics but unfortunately i just dont see him making a full comeback. its a shame that what happened happened at the peak of his career. so hard to really come back from something like that.

i agree that he does a great job int he commentators booth.

I guess this fight is as official as it can get now. It is on the UFC website.

MIR IS A GREAT GROUND FIGHTER AND HARDONK IS A STAND UP GUY

SO IF MIR HAS HIM ON THE GROUND THEN HE WILL SUBMIT HARDOCK

i am nervous, i really want Frank to win but he hasn't been himself lately. This is the one time i want to see a "can "fight, i would like Frank to fight a blind paraplegic to make sure he wins.

"IF" this fight even happens between Hardonk and Mir, the dutchman wil not be a push over. He almost finished that first round arm bar on McCully who is a BJJ black belt.

Firstly, that armbar was absolutely pathetic, and second, McCully is one of the least impressive BJJ black belts I've seen in MMA.

I'm not looking for Mir to be overly impressive. I think he will squek out a decision in this fight, but it might not be the most exciting fight on the card.

hardonk brought in a giant new zealander and a couple of samoans to help work on his grappling since he was thrown around by mccully and hes saying hes going to be 250 lbs an as ripped as hes ever been come the mir fight. he was offered a fight by k1 but turned it down to fight in the ufc again. he told me that he knows everyone wants mir to win, but he wants to put on a good show for the fans and hopefully win some over.
