The UFC is giving popular rising English welterweight Darren Till the fight he asked for – and in his home country, no less.

The undefeated 24-year-old Till (16-0-1 MMA, 4-0-1 UFC) will take on former two-time title challenger Stephen Thompson (14-2-1 MMA, 9-2-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 127, which takes place Feb. 24 and airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

The card was recently announced for Orlando, Fla., but UFC President Dana White revealed during a Q&A tonight in Santa Monica, Calif, that it will be moved to England, according to Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times.

Holy shit !

the top 2 strikers in the division imo. Dangerous match up for Till but i think he could pull it off. Perry or Ponzinibio would have been decent enough for Till. They're not wasting any time with this kid giving him Wonderboy

Agreed. Stoked for this fight. Till has looked sensational. I want to say the typical prospect referencing quote of "we'll see how he does against (insert established 'real fighter' here)", but we saw him against a 'real fighter' in Cerrone. Cerrone had one hell of a war and was in there with Lawler all the way through it, but Till ran through him like he was nothing. MMA math being irrelevant, that's still impressive. Wonderboy is a stiff step up from Cerrone for this weight class and in terms of striking credentials. Love the fight. We'll see how well he handles a top 3 guy in the division. If he wins this one he should be next in line for a title after the RDA/Lawler winner.

I posted this on Sunday morning.

TJ vs Cruz/Rivera winner
MM vs Cejudo/Pettis winner
Garbrandt vs Lineker or Rivera if he loses to Cruz

GSP vs Whitaker
Bisping vs Jacare or Romero

Rose vs Joanna or Andrade
Joanna vs Rose or Cavillo

Thompson vs Till
Masvidal vs Condit/Magny

Vick vs Poirier/Pettis winner headlined the FN

Thompson vs Till came to fruition. But thinking about it I think Joanna absolutely deserves a rematch. But i was so stoked to see her and Cody get served some good ol humble pie.

I'm hoping Till gets a slice of that pie as well...him and Perry both!
