A much-anticipated rematch between The Ultimate Fighter 1 cast members Chris Leben (16-4 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Mike Swick (10-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) will take place at UFC Fight Night 11 — most likely as the night’s main event — but the weight class for the fight is still undecided.
Swick has been told that Leben plans to drop to 170 pounds for the fight, but if the weight loss proves too daunting for the Oregon slugger, Swick’s camp says the fight will go on at 185 pounds.

Interesting in my opinion. Didn't think Leben could make 170.

Leben can definetely make 170 if he needed to and put some work into it. Most def. I'm lookin forward to this fight. I think it should happen at 170, advantage to Leben if so.

I don't see any way that Leben can win this one

Leban needs to dropp as much weight as he can. he prob could go down to 155 if he was dedicated enough. He looks too soft everytime I have seen him.

Yeah, Leben could drop. I remember a while back someone comparing him to an over sized baby at 185. The only thing keeping Leben from succeeding is Leben. He refuses to tighten up his boxing (more like brawling) and doesn't really pay serious attention to his ground game.

I think this is lebens last fight on his contract and so leben might leave UFC and go to ICON. But I hope this fight happens at 170.

I like Swicks chances here. Leben, is sloppy but you can never count him out.
Leben always has a punchers chance but if Swick can stay technical i think he can take this fight and avenge his previous loss to Leben in the WEC.

As far as dropping to 170, Leben should be able to do it.. but can he mentally do it is the real question. Either way, i am excited to see the fight!

your right the only thing stopping himself from succeeding is himself. he has to be more disciplined with himself, cutting out the booze and start being smarter.

his boxing could be a lot better for someone who likes to perdominately stand up. he needs to utilise other aspects to make him more of a well rounded fighter.

there are always going to be guys better then him standing up, so he needs skills to take them down or something.

leben needs to defend the stand up better and stop relying on his iron chin. anderson proved it was iron, so leben needs to keep his hands up and close together more boxing style.

Swick is the more technical fighter and will win this fight. I also agree that Leben looks soft at 185. It will be interesting to see how he does at 170, if it goes to that way.

he can def cut up i mean he has a bit of fat on him enough to get him down to 170 at least and i think it would be in his favor too.as for the contract situation he said the last one was it,but he is still here so who knows.
