A former champion and current top UFC heavyweight is the latest to be flagged by USADA.

Junior dos Santos tested positive for an unknown banned substance in an out-of-competition test administered by USADA, the UFC’s anti-doping partner, on Aug. 10. The Brazilian was subsequently informed of a potential violation, the UFC announced Friday afternoon in a statement.

This sucks more so because I was looking forward to the Ngannou fight. Hopefully they can get him a replacement but it's not going to be a top 10 guy more than likely. Oh well, keep building up that record.

Not a huge surprise, his body composition has changed drastically since USADA came into the UFC!! And can't seem to win a fight these days.

After seeing how many times USADA has made a mistake over the last year or so I'm going to hold my breath before I start pointing a finger at JDS. This is really, really disappointing though. This was a great fight to see where Ngannou stands.

The one bright side is that there's plenty of time to find a solid replacement. I'm crossing my fingers for Overeem but that's probably wishful thinking. Mark Hunt would be great too. He's got a fight scheduled for November though. Not sure he'd be ready to make a quick turnaround for early September. Unfortunately it might end up being a newcomer or a bottom of the pack guy that he'll run through.

The other option would be the pull one of the guys from the main event of the next card and then get a replacement for that guy. It might make more sense to do that since it's just a Fight Night card and this is a PPV.

His management came out and said it was a diuretic...either way it's just like WTF.

Same.........and Nggannou's camp wants Overeem but I doubt Overeem will take that fight on semi-short notice like that. Expect him to get a fight but probably won't be against a top guy. Maybe Daniel Olmielanczuk or something like that.

Derrick day Lewis would be good, too, but he's now booked. Maybe Travis Browne could sign up for one more ass beating.

Yea a lot of HWs are booked and the ones who aren't have too much to lose to take a fight with this killer on short notice, that's why I'm thinking he gets a fight but just not one that is particularly going to move him anywhere in the rankings, but he could get a tough guy fight like Omielanczuk or idk maybe Walt Harris or Rothwell....I just don't see many guys taking this fight unless they really think they can upset him.

I like the Derrick Lewis suggest as I do, Overeem and Browne....I just don't think any of them will take the fight.....maybe Lewis, but I believe he has a fight lined up.

PS - They need to update their roster, Roy Nelson is still on it and I think I saw a few other guys that are now in Bellator still on it.

I like the rothwell idea the most. Is he suspended or something? I haven't heard his name in a while.

I actually think that N'Gannou is gonna fight Miocic next so this could be a blessing. Maybe 216, they need a Main or at the latest 218. As soon as Miocic's contract dispute is over there's only 2 guys in the top 5 that haven't already gotten beat by Miocic and that's Cain and N'Gannou.

As intriguing as Miocic/Cain could be I don't want the guy that never fights fight for the belt.

So Miocic vs N'Gannou it is! That's my take on it.

And i do think that JDS will be cleared. It was a diuretic not a roid. Its not uncommon for a diuretic to be in some supplements. But we shall see.
