If/When Hollywood defeats Rampage.
Do you think Dana gives him a shot at Franklin/Silva winner?
Unification of 2 divisions would make Hollywood a LEGEND!!!

I still have an opinion about it.
It would be a bad move, but a good fight. Fights are more marketable if a title is on the line, so it makes sense to spread the titles out. If Hendo has 4 of the 10 title it doesn't mean he fights four times as much as someone who has 1 title. Hendo fights once every four or five months and defends a title. That means he fights once every 8-10 months to defend the MW title. That is bad business. I know they want to unify the belts, but the Hendo/Jackson match is not a smart move for the UFC, even though it is great for the fans. I read it like this, the UFC doesn't think Hendo has a chance aginst Jackson or Liddell or they wouldn't have signed this match so soon. There was some talk of stripping Hendo of the MW title to avoid something like this and they still might do that considering he doesn't want to fight at MW any more, but we will have to wait and see.
Personally, I don't think they should unify so quickly. I say they should have a cage title and a ring title. That would really help Pride survive as a respectable org (if they can ever get in going again). There are plenty of people that could get a title shot at 205 before they unify. It is a big risk to tie up 3 titles with one man.
I know the cage is the UFC thing, but keeping a ring in some way would help expand the market and Pride is a great excuse to keep it. I know in Washington DC the cage is not legal yet. If they brought a Pride show in they could bring big names and expand the bottom line. That would go a long way to getting a cage legalized.

If Hendo is going to stay in the UFC and not fight at MW again and Pride is going to remain a stand alone org then they need a new MW champ. a torney wouldn't be out of the question. GPs can't happen in the US, but they can have them in Japan.
