UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn has another date scheduled for his Octagon return.

The former UFC welterweight and lightweight champion, whose return from an two-year retirement has been postponed on several occasions, will meet featherweight standout Yair Rodriguez in the main event of a Jan. 15 Fight Night card in Phoenix. The UFC announced the fight on their Spanish-language website on Monday.

I will be watching and waiting for that moment I have to look away so I don't see a HOF legend laid out cold on the mat.

I'll give 2 to 1 odds saying BJ pulls out of this fight.

They went from Siver who I'd give Penn half a chance of beating, then to Lamas who i'd give penn no chance in beating and now Yair who i'd give Penn no chance in hell of beating

I agree Penn probably pulls out of this one

With his failing a drug test, accusations of sexual abuse and all the fights he's pulled out of I have to say that I'm looking forward to watching BJ getting knocked out.

Strange fight.. Either Yair crushes a washed up legend or BJ derails a hot prospect.. Very unlikely but still strange fight

It just makes me laugh new fans and lamas want to put Penn down for his recent pull outs. You know the guy never pulled out of a single fight his entire HOF career until he announced his comeback and sure that led to two pull outs since but now people want to make him sound like he's Khabib or Aldo lol. It's disrespectful to be honest and maybe the man to blame isn't Bj but is Greg Jackson since he never pulled out of a fight when he was his own coach and now he answers to Greg and hey two pull outs since. Just Saying.

Either way as far as the fight goes I love this fight for BJ. Sure Yair COULD ko BJ but people are greatly overstating how washed up BJ is. BJ has only lost to the top of the food chain and this isn't that, it isn't as easy as a fight as Siver but it's an easier fight than Lamas. I think BJ should take the kid down and test his chops on the mat and neither guy is known for their gas tank so it could get sloppy down the stretch. Either way go BJ and remind these fans who you're a legend since people want to discredit you as being a pull out merchant.

It was just two fights he pulled out of so you must want to see Aldo get killed by that logic, he didn't fail a drug test he admitted to using an IV before he failed much like Lyoto so even then he didn't try to cheat and he was also acquitted from the charges of sexual abuse so maybe you're being too tough on the guy but hey that's fickle mma fans for you.
