Join us today on MMAPlayground for live results, and discussion as UFC 205 goes down in New York City.

The card features three title fights, with the headliner taking place at lightweight. Featherweight champion Conor McGregor will attempt to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts at the same time when he takes on lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez.

The other two title fights take place at welterweight and women's strawweight. Tyron Woodley will defend against Stephen Thompson, while Joanna Jedrzejczyk fights Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

This post will cover the preliminary card. The featured prelim bout takes place in the featherweight division, with former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar fighting Jeremy Stephens. There is also an important lightweight bout, with top contender Khabib Nurmagomedov meeting Michael Johnson. Event starts at 7pm est.

Miller is looking good ! Alves needs to step up the aggression in the 2nd

10-9 based on the takedown and advancing, but Alves had decent strikes late

That was impressive by Miller, I don't think the weight cut had anything to do with Alves performance..he was controlled on the ground and even on the feet it was surprisingly quite even

Alves was winning the standup before the takedown in the 2nd and after.. Was doing the same in the 3rd
