Fuuuuck. This is terrible news. RIP to one of the more entertaining pioneers of this sport. I feel terrible for his family too.

R.I.P I was a huge fan. I was pulling for him hard even during his failed comeback in strike force. One of the most explosive athletes ever. Hope the UFC looks out for his family. I know they don't really have any obligation too but it'd be nice. Dude payed his dues to the sport.

Never forget that Cro Cop KO, Fedor slam, the night he won the title and I still think he beat Bas haha

Unfortunate news. RIP Randleman. What a beast this guy was. He was definitely on the 90s high school VHS wrestling learners tape.

This match is legendary in NCAA and optimized the Monster to me through out his pro career. A match with everything, intense competition, spitting angry coaches, bloodied wrestlers, fouls, debris thrown on the mat form the audience... just a typical great Monster match. One of my first intros to the guy, enjoy:

Very sad times.

The two moments I remember most of all have already been mentioned. One of the hardest punches I've ever seen vs Cro Cop and that suplex to Fedor which still amazes me he survived.

I'll always remember his humble attitude after all his fights. He never made excuses after fights and always gave props to his opponents. His post-fight backstage conversation with Rampage at Pride 25 was great. It's at the end of this video.
