My guess is the UFC will lift the suspension soon, and have him fight whoever wins this weekend.

I don't think anyone is surprised. We all knew he wasn't going to get severely punished.

For all of Greg Jackson's traditional Martial arts background he sure doesn't say much about his bad boys lack of respect.

Today's lesson to the younger generation. When you are rich and famous, you can get away with anything.

Sadly that's not just today's Lesson

Rich and famous has always been the tried and true method of avoiding responsibility for your actions.

Rant removed. Too ranty.

On the other hand, if "society" has deemed that he will not do time get him back to fighting. Clearly he has ~1 thing to offer society and that is an exciting performance.

Absolutely shameful. Jones should be embarrassed and disgraced but I am confident he's smiling at home right now, putting his feet up just thinking about getting back in the gym. Absolutely disgusting.

On the flip side. This will all work out for Dana if Jones can get through probation unscathed and set up a huge DC/Jones rematch. But again, that's a HUGE if.

He's gotta talk to children once a week for 72 weeks as part of his punishment.

Hopefully he takes that part serious because these kids these days have the wrong image of what's cool. Hopefully Bones is scencere with this portion of his sentence because he can really send a positiv message through his ignorant crime.

Oh and who said Jones/DC rematch? I want Jones/Gus rematch.

War Gus!

Jones wasn't in jail much to begin with...really think he hasn't been training. I bet he fights very soon!

Rediculous.

I'm sure most of us would do the same thing to avoid jail time if we where in his position. At least he is out of the worst part and maybe in the new year we can hear some sort of news about him and the ufc.

I'm actually curious to see who people dislike more Cormier or jones, because jones was leading in most people's eyes for a long time but now that he is on the down low Cormier is making a play for King douche.

And just for reference purposes, let's see what I wrote on this subject on 9/21/15, when it was noted Jones was entering a plea deal...

Jon Jones will likely end up throwing around enough dough to keep the injured parties content. Then, I predict he will receive another legal slap on the wrist, amounting to no jail time, some fines, and "community service".
