This guy served in SAS for three years before breaking his back in a parachute jump. That makes him one of the toughest mofos that ever lived.

For those of you who do not have a clue, SAS is one of the most elite special operations units on the face of the earth. American 1st Operational Detachment Delta ("Delta Force") was modeled after SAS.

The SAS are without a doubt the best soldiers on earth, they are taken from the hardest of stock, and trained to absolute Perfection.

So what if he has a camera crew...I mean the point of the show is for him to show you... the viewers what extremes you would have to go thru to survive.Planned out or not still pretty badass to see him cook a goat thigh with a shoelace in the hot spring.

Yeah, I just heard about this over the weekend. Seems like a big deal over nothing. As the article states...

"Channel 4 said in a statement that Born Survivor [aka 'Man vs. Wild"] was 'not an observational documentary series, but a 'how-to' guide to basic survival techniques in extreme environments.'"

I always understood that to be the case.

*shrug*
