My Bills got better today!!!

McCoy was traded for LB Kiko Alonso.

McCoy has the NFL's third-most rushing yards (6,792) and fourth-most rushing touchdowns (44) since he was drafted by the Eagles in the second round in 2009. He finished last season with 1,319 rushing yards, third-most in the NFL.

Wow, didn't think the Eagles would let McCoy go.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

I am a die hard BILLS fan and love this trade. Rex's power run is perfect for Shady.

I think short-term the Bills will do well w/ Shady, but the Eagles for sure got the better end of the trade

Short term? Shady is only 26, and this is Kiko's 2nd Acl surgery. Advantage Buffalo!

Saw that and is still hard to make sense from the Eagles perspective. Obviously is money based but you're losing a really good player. I guess Kelly trust his offense to be effective with cheap players and they're planning to lay cash on Defense?

I actually read a quote from Todd Herremens, former guard for the Eagles where he stated about Chip Kelly:
"I think he values the quarterback position in his offense the most," Herremans told WPEN-FM, via Philly Magazine. "Quarterback and offensive line. I think other than that, I think that he feels like he can kind of, you know, the system will take care of it." that is the only thing I can figure as motivation to trade shady. That and Alonso is someone Kelly had recruited back in Oregon. It was also reported that Shady had stated he didn't always see eye to eye with Kelly's methods and he blamed hard Saturday practices before the games on Sunday for a lack of burst due to his legs being fatigued.

Agreed. McCoy will fizzle out in Buffalo

Yeah, at most they'll get like 4 maybe 5 years out of McCoy. RBs have a short life in the nfl and rarely play much past 30, and certainly even more rarely at a high level due to the abuse the position takes. I think he is like 26 now, so 4 or 5 years is what he likely has left. Alonso is something like 22 years old, and barring any injuries shortening his career, the Eagles will be able to get probably 10+ years out of him. Definitely a short term investment for a long term investment here. Hopefully the bills can try and make the time they have with him count and make a serious run. I think they are going to need to find a qb or get Manuel to play at a consistently high level if they really want to make a run at the Lombardi though.

You may be right about Shady, I think anyone who watches football knows that RB'S retire younger than most positions.

Also how do you figure a LB who is undersized and already has had 2 torn ACL'S will last over 10 years in the NFL??

Just like your fantasy team past two seasons? Last and Last!
Maybe you should let your GF draft your team next year, wouldn't hurt!

Not sure the comparison you are going for. That the Bills will be last or McCoy will? Try a little better next time.
