I think the only chance Rashad has is if he is able to get a lucky kick to the head in. Because even if Rashad is somehow able to get Tito on his back he won't be able to do much with it. Unlike Tito, Rashad can't do much damage from the guard and Tito was able to fend off Couture from his back for 4 rounds. And I think we can all agree that Couture is a far better wrestler than Rashad.

It's only because its Tito saying this that it gets any attention. Fighters say stuff like this all the time, and its just passed off as a confident statement. If Rashad said it would it there be a thread about it here? No. He's confident and ready, thats why he's hyping up the fight

I am not sure about traditional wrestling, but Randy's style of wrestling translates well into MMA, while i have yet to be impressed with Rashad

Ortiz spends too much time trying to market his own ass. He should spend more time training because he's going to have a handful with Rashad.

Rashad by UD.

Titos one of the hardest training athletes in MMA period. He does a great job at both hyping his fights and preparing himself up in Big Bear

I can't wait to see Rashad repeatedly punch Tito in the face. Perhaps that will shut him up.

Only i fhe breaks his jaw. lol

I wonder after all this trash talking, Tito will calll Rashad the day of the weigh in and tell him he is "off the hook." lol

Fend off Courture? Maybe we arent thinking of the same fight, when I saw it, Couture dominated for 5 rounds, I remember the commentators noting that Tito just didnt look like he knew what to do when someone put him on his back and pummeled him.

He did not get pummled. He was outwrestled which is why it came to a decision instead of being stopped. At no point was Tito ever in serious jeopardy of losing due to strikes. But that's just my opinion. Plus it wasn't 5 rounds of domination it was 4 rounds of domination. The first round was pretty even, and at one point Tito took Couture down so that round could have gone to Tito. But I will rewatch it tonight to verify this.

yea well I'm pretty sure Tito didn't know what to do when some one put him on his back and pummeled him but I've never seen Evens do that to anyone hes faced so i don't see how hes gonna do it to Ortiz.
