Soon after Tito Ortiz’s less-than-flattering comments about UFC president Dana White and rival Chuck Liddell hit the Web, “The Hunington Beach Bad Boy” let loose on another notable: his UFC 73 opponent, Rashad Evans.

Ortiz spends too much time trying to market his own ass. He should spend more time training because he's going to have a handful with Rashad.
Rashad by UD.

I think Tito knos what hes doing and im confident hes gonna walk away with the victory. IMO its not gonna be a tough fight for him Rashads gonna get gassed like he always does and Tito will be in great shape like he always is and i rele dont see Ortiz getting knocked out by Evens so im seeing Ortiz taking down and GnP Rashad to a three round UD. This is just Ortiz promoting the fight just like when he said he was gonna make Rashad his "Nappie headed ho"

I'm not sure which is worse, tito saying this or saying he would make Rashad his "nappy headed bitch" during that whole Don Imus thing. I still think Rashad is going to suprise alot of us and actually show up in shape for a fight and make this one a SD instead of a UD.

I think Tito spends too much time flapping his gums. He should focus more on making himself a better fighter, rather than just trying to annoy his opponents. He seems to think he is gonna walk allover Rashad, but when it comes down to it, neither Tito or Rashad are good strikers, and I think Rashad is a better wrestler, he is gonna be on Tito like Velcro for 3 rounds, and will probably take the decision.
Tito's continual abuse towards Rashad shows one of two things; either he is taking him lightly and thinks he can openly mock him, or he knows he is in for a real fight here and is trying to demoralise Rashad and big himself up. He shouldnt look past Rashad. I think more and more, Tito and the MMA fans are learning that he isnt and never was the amazing fighter he was once thought to be , he is a lot closer to Rashad's level than he might like to think. Tito isnt a superpower in MMA anymore. Rashad has a very real chance at beating him, thats why I've picked Rashad to win by UD.

I can't wait to see Rashad repeatedly punch Tito in the face. Perhaps that will shut him up.

I think all this is just gonna fuel Rashad to be in better shape for Ortiz. Rashad by UD.

I'm just about done with this topic.......Rashead will be great one day but that day is not today nor will it be anytime soon. They have similar styles and Tito is the stronger of the two, not to mention he's already had a close call with a TUF guy so I don't think Tito has taken this fight lightly and will make it a point to destroy Rashad to remove all doubt on whether he is still a top competetor......not that he proves it by beating Evans just that if he loses the point is proven on the other hand.

I said the same during the Chuck saga, but it never happened, lol. Don't expect him to stop running his mouth, it's how he sells himself.

im by no means a tito fan, but the guy can sell a fight. i have rashad picked by ud, but the more i think about it the more im leaning towards titos experience. that and the fact that i havent seen rashad against a top fighter. rashad keeps looking better and better every time out there, and the only way to find out if he is that good is a match like this. im just hoping it doesnt turn into a cuddlefest on the ground with neither guy trying to improve positon, i could see either one hoping for a win on takedowns and LnP

I don't think anyone can accuse Tito of laying and praying. he stays active on the ground and that is why he never gets stood up by the ref.
