none of the guys you have mentioned are underrated because if your underrated then know one talks about you or knows you case and point no one is underrated only overrated
If you're a 10 and someone rates you a 9, then you are underrated.

Rich Franklin......Ever since his devistating loss to Silva all I've heard is how he should have never been in the ring with him, no excuses for his performance but he was a UFC champ and will return to greatness very soon......Just wait and see.

That's an interesting angle. The way he lost to Silva, combined with the 3rd round of his last fight, he may very well be underrated. But I don't think he is "most" underrated.

Karo I find to be very underrated. He has had some great fights, and yet he's still not a big name-hopefully a shot at the belt will change all this. I think he could be a serious contender for it and a strong chapion. With GSP, Hughes and Karo all chasing the Welterweight belt, that division has never been better!

i agree that karo is really underrated, although after the burkman fight he may have gained legitimacy with some fans. my choice would be sean sherk, i know hes the champ, but everyone seems to "know" of several guys that could beat him and the reality is no one has except the greatest champion in ufc history, and a guy who many feel is the best lb for lb fighter in the world right now(or at least they did before he lost to serra). the guy is a beast and if he beats bj(assuming he beats franca and fights bj next) i think he will start to get the respect he deserves from mma fans. i can see him holding that strap for a long time.

Nobody has the skillset that karo has. He just needs to finish fights.

The man Karo might just face next is hands down the most underrated superstar in MMA today. You might know him his name is JON FITCH. This guy is an INCREDIBLE fighter but yet he never gets onto a PPV main card. I think UFN 10 was the first time he was actually shown LIVE on tv and the UFC fans finally got a glimpse of what the future is of the UFC.
Karo really is not underrated, I mean he has been on many UFC Pay Per View bouts and almost all of them have been shown on the broadcast because Karo is a very exciting fighter with his Judo Throws and UniBrow. He is more OVERLOOKED in the UFC by management but he is def not underrated.
Also Frank Edgar is very underrated I mean this guy did beat Tyson Griffin. same weight class Clay Guida is very very very underrated, he show all of us what he can do against well.. Tyson Griffin at UFC 72.
So my underrated list 1.) Jon Fitch 2.) Frank Edgar 3.) Clay Guida 4.)(still) Matt Serra 5.) Heath Herring 6.) Lyoto Machida 7.) David Heath 8.) Jake O'Brien

If Jon Fitch is your #1 most underrated fighter, then Jeff Joslin must be off the charts...

He has had some good fights and beaten some names, but if you asked a lot of UFC fans if he deserves a shot, or even who he is, and a lot of them will proably just give you a blank stare tbh.
