It was just confirmed on RAW, Vince came out and gave a statement from the empty ring, since Raw was cancelled.
Wow... Now we know its for real. Was this for the Roster only or was this infront of a live audience?

Vince in the ring, empty arena, no roster though... he was visibly upset, not that he couldnt fake it after all this time, but Benoit was his work horse, he really loved the guy.

Chris benoit was supposed to wrestle at the wwe pay per view last night, but had to call in and say he couldn't make it because he and his family were ill and throwing up blood. Chris benoit was one of the most respectful and nicest people Ive ever met. RIP chris.

My friend said the same but I highly doubt it was Tuberculosis. In these situations the more common thing is Murder Suicide.

I'm think more of murder or somethin. because what are the odds of him, his wife, and his son all dying at the same time. even if they were all sick, you would think one of them would have died then some one call the hospital. but they were all found dead this afternoon. I met chris a couple year ago and had the oppurtunity to meat him again 3 weeks ago when he came to six flags kentucky kingdom to wrestle at ohio valley wrestling. but I was able to go, now he's gone.

I got to slap his hand in Anaheim at a Raw/Smackdown! show. Yeah Murder is probably what it's gonna turn out to be.

I cant believe it. I havent watched wrestling for 5 years but liked Benoit way back in the late80s on Stampede. I even stole his nickname for my handle on here. Wrestling sure has has alot of premature deaths in recent years.

yeah because you would think one of them would have died 1st then they would have called 911. and they might have passed away at the hospital. there doing an investigation. but on a wrestling website it did say thay chris benoit was NOT shot to death.

Damn when I watched wrestling a few years ago I went to a live PPV event in the Continental Arena to see this dude. It was Benoit vs Jericho vs. Stone Cold in a tripple threat for the title. Chris always was one of my favorite wrestlers he brought excitement to WWE. RIP.
