Joe stated that one of the main reasons he even did the show in the first place was for a chance to train with BJ

After the Pulver fight, he didn't need the show to get in the UFC and he's smart enough to use his time wisely on the show.

Also, he's looking at moving to Hawaii. BJ said he could stay in his "fighter house" and he didn't go yet because he wanted to see how his first fight after the show went since he's got a ton of student loans

Joe has a bright future in MMA. He is a very good fighter and a likeable person. It was very obvious that he spent his time very well in the house. Looking back on the show, anytime the crap was going down he was not around. If I remember right the exception was with the food fight at the end.

I just wish the Lauzon-Cole Miller fight had ended differently. That was a great fight until the punch to the back of the head. Either way, Lauzon's definitely got a bright future.

I see Nate Diaz going the farthest out of all of the TUF competitors. Joe has a good career started though.

I personally was not bothered about the shot to the back of the head, I dont think it was anywhere near as serious as Cole made it out to be, Cole was getting destroyed and just wanted a breather imo. Even if the shot did affect Cole, I dont see it as changing the outcome of the fight, Joe was dominatiing.

Excellent point. I missed that, thanks for pointing it out.I agree, and I wish all the fighters ( cough Wang) had payed as much attention to their coach.

I think Joe has the brightest futre in mma out of the TUF contestants. First of all nate didn't acctually win the finale, he just didn't get hurt, and second I think the joe v. manny fight was just manny being a little boulder and laying on top of joe...nothing else really happend.

Lauzon was clearly the classiest guy on the show. From the beginning he showed an eagerness to learn. It looked like Penn really took a liking to him, and then invited him out to Hawaii to train. Hopefully lauzon will take him up on the offer.

BJ should worry more about having the same cardio at 170 as he did at 155.

Bookies should start taking bets on how soon BJ will be back to his drinking and partying. Who knows how long this 'new BJ Penn' will last.

I think Manny, Joe, and Nate all have very bright futures if they keep progressing.

Nate, he can just keep throwing sub after sub from all situations and is tough as nails.

Manny is just a boulder. Very powerful and dominating from top, not to mention his judo.

Joe is very intelligent, tough, and is steadily improving.

I wouldn't bet against any of them not being able to challenge for the belt in a couple of years.
