Despite the bad blood between former Bellator and current ONE FC welterweight champion and the UFC, Dana White seems happy to let bygones be bygones. Askren though, predictably, seems willing to carry on with firing shots on social media.

askren is out of his mind. I know he dislikes dana but he's burning a bridge to the only place he can fight big names and make big money.

"Contrary to popular belief, well I do hold grudges if you're a real idiot I'll hold a grudge 'til the day I drop dead. But fighters? I don't really do that with fighters. These guys are built different then everybody. They're tough guys and this is what they do for a living and they're gonna' say stuff like that."

Dana provided an example that would hopefully be a good sign to any fan that is hopeful to one day see Askren, currently undefeated in 14 professional bouts, fighting the best opposition in his division.

"If Tito can come back to the UFC, anybody can come in here, believe me. 'Cause there's nobody on Earth I hated worse than Tito."

I think we'll see him in the octagon one day (hopefully soon) for sure. As long as he keeps winning and finishing I think they'll work something out.

That is not the response I had expected...Ben should jump on this. I think he's just positioning himself for some good money on his contract.

Ben still has plenty of fights left on his contract so he isn't coming to the UFC anytime soon BUT that doesn't mean he should burn the UFC bridge before he even gets there. Dana can say what he likes about not caring what fighters say but if Askren keeps running his mouth and taking jabs at the UFC and Dana they might not be so "willing" to eventually sign him contrary to what Dana says. Askren is fooling nobody either...he obviously is dying to come to the real show the problem is that he is still ticked that the UFC did not sign him when he left Bellator. He should probably be a little more respectful with the big boys as down the road they more than likely will be paying his bills.

Don't blame Ben at all
They both have said shit about one another.

But it's time to bury the hatchet

Classic argument.

"I think X, so anyone who disagrees with X is an [insert insult.]"
