Not sure if someone made a thread about this already.

Anyways I was just wondering what all of you thought of him.

Personally I was impressed and I can only hope that the UFC keeps him, as this guy has huge potential.

When I saw him I laughed cause he looks more like a hair-stylist but he does have some nice wrestling techniques. He needs to just become a bit more tougher and develop better striking or at least a better striking defence.

He's a good fighter and was giving Huerta a run for his money in their fight. I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing more of him in the future.

Is Huerta that good? I've only seen him fight that one time.

That guy suprised me man. He has some solid wrestling, and avoided some good shots. If he can improve his stand-up, he could be a potential problem for a lot of people at 155. Good fight.

I totally agree. This guy showed huge potential and I was totally suprised at how well he was handling Huerta.

Dent, Garcia and Evans...

It seems that the past few Huerta fights have resulted in finding a fighter that is "better than advertised." Dare I say it, maybe Huerta is a little overrated.

IMO I think that Evans was the better fighter that night. I think he needs to put a bit more effort in getting out of tough situations. That was the difference between him and Huerta that night. Whenever Huerta was in a bad spot he would try and get out of it, as soon as Evans gave up his back, he was flattened out and that was it. There was no struggle or anything.

Huerta to me seemed a bit overrated right from the start, but he has pull with UFC fans and that's what going to keep him around. Plus a SI cover never hurts your cause.
