Because "The Mauler" isnt going to be fighting for the title anytime soon, regardless of how upset he is.

I was thinking that this was the only fight that possibly made sense for Gustafsson, if he had to or decided to take one in the interim while waiting for the DC-Jones winner. This would be a very violent fight, I'm sure.

Great fight. I would take Gus, but Rumble could give him problems.

It makes perfect sense but I think Gus is still being a crybaby and won't take the fight.

If the fight does happen, I got Gus winning but it won't be an easy fight.

It makes a lot of sense but it also eliminates a challenger. I'm kind of on the fence about it.

PLEASE MAKE THIS FIGHT

Alexander needs a reality check, and I think Rumble is just the person to give it to him

I am so tired of his bitching.

PERSONALLY

I don't think he will be able to best Rumble. I actually think Rumble gets the KO in the first

You could make the fight.
Also it would eliminate a contender
After Cormier and gus is rumble

After rumble there isn't a whole lot left.
Would rather see rumble face osp vs Bader winner

Keep gus active have him face some one outside to top 10

Hendo had to take another fight when he was injured and pulled out of his title fight, only makes sense for Gus to do the same.

Completely agree...wtf?!?!!

If they bump off Rumble now or if he bumps off Gus it really hurts LHW. Give Gus someone like Glover or Rashad if/when he fights again. I like Rumble vs the winner tomorrow, it keeps the division more interesting.

I was thinking rashad vs Gus . Tough fight but winnable for Gus. I have no problem with aj beating up on osp badger or having his hands full with glover

I want to see a more convincing winner between Gus & Bones, so i don't like the fight... even though it's a good fight on paper and for Jon Jones. Whoever wins is a talented striker with solid takedown defense, so it gives Bones the same Accolade should he beat Cormier.

Cormier beats Gus and Johnson 75/25 each, IMO

Johnson vs. Evans would keep him alive as a title contender and test him. if he can dispatch Evans then give him a title shot or whatever.

Gus though should take some sort of fight, If DC wins we all know Bones will get a rematch right away, and DC will injury something and we will have to wait even longer.
